I have a bunch I want to get done this week. Here is a synopsis:
*Tidy the kitchen
* Tidy the living room
* Laundry - both wash & put away
* Make Persian garb (by WW)
* Warp inkle loom & start new belt
* Fingerloop some lanyards
* Polyurethan new wooden chests
* Get all the mats out of Fred's fur
* Get to the gym!! & get them new billing info
* Go through closet and get rid of clothes I don't wear anymore
*Call insurance agency to let them know about hail damage from Friday
* Return dress
* Ages final report (added 6/4)
I think that's it. I'm overwhelmed already...maybe tonight I'll ignore this list and be a slug on the couch. Or maybe I'll get the tidying out of the way this afternoon before the hubby gets home from being gone for a week.

I finally self-motivated enough to clean the bedroom...for the first time in forever!! I am ashamed to say that I still had a box of stuff I'd gotten at our shire Twelfth Night pary sitting out and all that is now finally put away. So everything got taken up off the floor and put away...and everything got picked up off my dresser and nightstand and put away. Then the furniture all got dusted and boy did it need it!
I had a curious FredCat wondering what I was doing until I pulled out the vaccuum cleaner. Then he hid under the bed and QuincyDog sat and guarded him. At least Q isn't afraid of our new vaccuum like he was the old one.
The Hubby came home right as I was finishing, and I think he almost passed out from the shock of the clean room. LOL Poor man. But he knew I was a slob before we got married, so I don't feel TOO sorry for him.
I think the living room is on my agenda for tomorrow since it's COVERED in various A&S materials. I hate cleaning, but love a clean house...almost as much as I like being messy.

I had a very good weekend. The hubby & I went with another couple to their family's from Thursday evening-Sunday morning, & we had a great time. The cabin is in Garrison, MN, on the NW shore of Mille Lacs Lake. We played lots of Settlers of Catan & also watched quite a few movies. The nicest thing of the weekend was that we didn't have to do ANYTHING. We could laze around in PJs all day if we wanted...and did until noon on Saturday!
Friday, the four of us went to a museum ran jointly by the MN Historical Society and the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwa. It was basically a look at the history of the Ojubwa in the region. It was very well done, and we all enjoyed the visit. I didn't really learn anything new, but it was still good to get previous knowledge cemented & validated.
We watched 4 movies that included a couple independent films that I'll have to write up a review for since they were...interesting. The Independent with Jerry Stiller & Janeane Garofalo & Perfume: The Story of a Murderer with Alan Rickman, Dustin Hoffman & starring Ben Whishaw as Jean-Baptiste Grenouille (a VERY CREEPY man with a VERY SENSITIVE nose). So stay tuned for those reviews! :)
We got home early Sunday (around 2:00) so I volunteered to go over and help Liz prep her house to be invaded this week. She's going to have 8 overnight guests (I think...if not more) for her wedding Friday.
spot1111 & I helped clean the kitchen and do other small tasks like dusting. It was a good time to get together with a couple other women & do good work for a good friend. :)
