I have a Fred on my lap. He's sweet and he's purring and he's warm. Life is good.

I have a bunch I want to get done this week. Here is a synopsis:
*Tidy the kitchen
* Tidy the living room
* Laundry - both wash & put away
* Make Persian garb (by WW)
* Warp inkle loom & start new belt
* Fingerloop some lanyards
* Polyurethan new wooden chests
* Get all the mats out of Fred's fur
* Get to the gym!! & get them new billing info
* Go through closet and get rid of clothes I don't wear anymore
*Call insurance agency to let them know about hail damage from Friday
* Return dress
* Ages final report (added 6/4)
I think that's it. I'm overwhelmed already...maybe tonight I'll ignore this list and be a slug on the couch. Or maybe I'll get the tidying out of the way this afternoon before the hubby gets home from being gone for a week.

Why is it that once a cat learns to love the outdoors, he feels obligated to poop on the living room floor?? LennyCat (RIP) became more and more like this after he started to go outside on a regular basis. He also caught some kind of bug or something that made his crap ewwy & gooey & a big stinking mess (literally). Fred, the newcomer, decided to make the living room (with light beige carpet) and the stairs his property by pooing there yesterday. *sigh* Looks like we'll have to retrain him and keep him inside all the time from here on out. If that doesn't work, that little sweet cat will be SOL, since we can't have him doing his business EVERYWHERE in the new house.

I've been bad about posting lately, so here's a catch up!
I was just following links this morning, and ran across this wonderfully cute site - http://www.randomkittengenerator.com/. Just as it sounds, you get a random picture of a adorable & cuddly kitty. Just what I need on a Monday morning!
I have submitted my Clarrey documentation from Artful Haire Affaire to MMM - Mead Meat & More (Northshield's food quarterly). It will be in the summer issue. I only had to adjust the documentation I wrote up for the A&S competition a bit, and included my second attempt at the redaction since it was much spicier than attempt #1 & very yummy. I hope to have my cheese article done to submit it to MMM for their Q3 issue.
My grandpa should be coming home from the hospital today or tomorrow. He's been there since last Saturday with fungal pnemonia. He's MUCH better, thankfully and the doctor is just waiting for his oxygen levels to remain high enough to send him home. He's 90, so every bit of extra time with him & Grandma is a blessing! We visited Friday & Saturday, and it was good to see him as awake and alert as he was. I haven't seen him in such good spirits for a while actually, so I wonder how long this has been perculating in his lungs. Shannon & I are going back this weekend to spend time and help out around the house however we can. I see laundry in my future! :) I miss WW, which bums me out, but family comes first!
